Conference information

This annual 2 day conference and exhibition is the largest gathering of health visitors, school nurses, community nursery nurses and associated colleagues in the UK.

With keynote presentations from leading government policy makers, clinical innovators, insights from education and research plus practical leadership briefings on the huge management challenges in health services. The event provides the most concise and up to date briefing for those leading and active in community nursing at a time of great change.

Presentations will address how to help children reach their full potential and helping the most vulnerable 120,000 families in the UK, giving all children the best start in life and caring for them through school years. This is the challenge for health visitors, school nurses, community nursery nurses and associated colleagues.

With the abolition of Primary Care Trusts, Modernising the Community Workforce in Scotland and changing roles in schools, plus the shift of public health work to local authorities, community nurses are going through a period of intense change in their work and employment.
