This conference will focus on the findings and the recommendations of the National Audit Office 'Services for people with rheumatoid arthritis' report.

The report examines the efficiencies and effectiveness of services for people with rheumatoid arthritis in England.

The response from the All-party parliamentary rheumatoid arthritis group will also be covered.

The report highlights the importance of early diagnosis, better integration and co-ordination of services, access to holistic care, support to stay in or return to employment and ensuring patient centred services that support self-management of the condition.

Bringing together senior policy makers, academics, clinicians and major stakeholder organisations, this conference will consider the systemic improvements needed to manage and control rheumatoid arthritis.
