The RCM Student Midwives’ conference, now in its 19th year has become the highlight of the year for student midwives across the UK to meet together, hear from leading experts and discuss the latest developments and challenges facing midwifery education and practice. This important event has been designed to inspire, support and give confidence to the new generation of students to move forwards and make the transition to midwife. It will help to prepare and equip you for the challenges ahead in your professional career. We will this year be considering the role of fathers and what makes a good mentor. We will also be exploring the challenges of delivering normal birth and working with new technologies. There will also be student spotlight sessions where students can voice their opinions on the big issues you are facing.
