As local authorities have signed off their first LAAs, this event comes at a crucial time for the sector. It will offer delegates a forum to take stock and evaluate how their Local Area Agreement (LAA) is working and consider next year’s refresh
and associated challenges.

Delegates will consider how their LAA will contribute to next year’s Comprehensive Area Assessment – is the partnership robust? Are performance measures in place? Delegates will also examine how to identify areas where partners may struggle to meet targets and consider when, where and what
support may be necessary.

This key event in the local government calendar, supported by Communities and Local Government and the IDeA, is now in its fourth year. The conference continually attracts a senior management audience from within local government and its partners and offers an excellent networking event.
