PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE
This one day conference will:
- Determine how can learner voices be expressed and gathered effectively
- Expand the student experience into more reciprocal and participatory
activities
- Discuss whether technology can provide solutions for learners
- Look at how teaching and learning experience can be enhanced in
co-operation with employers to ensure the highest motivations among
students
- Benefit from the views of senior OFSTED representatives on achieving
differing levels of success
- Explore how teaching professionals can measure quality in teaching
and foster environments to enable 'learning to learn'
- Debate whether outstanding in inspection terms can ever allow for
outstanding T&L in the classroom on a day-to-day basis
- Hear from the Learning and Skills Network on their support services
for T&L
- Understand how SMTs can better support teaching staff and bridge
the gaps between them
- Learn from and share best practice in the interactive seminars on:
- Outstanding teaching, learning and assessment
- Making use of interactive devices across different learning enviroments
- Securing employer engagement to benefit the learner
