Local authorities are increasingly responsible for everything associated with young people to give them the best possible start in life.

From April 2010 local authorities will take forward funding of provision for 16-19 year olds. This brings about major changes in responsibilities, strategic management and new partnerships for all those involved.

This must-attend conference for senior leaders in FE and secondary schools, local authorities, members of Regional Planning Groups, and other experts, will set out how the change has affected those involved and what is still to be expected.
